The organizing committee warmly invites you to attend the China-Japan Pan Asia Pacific Mycology Forum, Changchun, China in 2008. The forum will provide an opportunity for sharing information on all aspects of mycology and foster constructive interaction between participants from all over the world. The working language of this conference will be English.
Changchun, the capital city of Jilin Province, is located in northeast China. Several buildings constructed during the beginning of last century are open to the public. The Imperial Palace of the Manchu State built for the Last Emperor of China is now a museum. The city is famous for its automobile manufacturing, and the first Red Flag car was made here. Holiday-style accommodation is available close to shops and restaurants. Changchun is also close to the Changbai Mountain Nature Preserve, with volcanic activity, and considered a sacred site by ethnic Koreans.
